Anchora focuses on established businesses with a sound business model and sustainable earnings.
Discuss an investment ↗ANCHORA / FOR INVESTORS
Through Anchora, I intend to acquire and personally lead an established business in Germany, Austria or Switzerland. I combine industrial leadership experience with practical implementation and open communication.

BUSINESS SUCCESSION. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.Anchora combines business succession with personal, day-to-day leadership.
The search focuses on industrial B2B businesses, industrial services and specialist logistics. The key criteria are a clear value proposition for customers, recurring demand and sustainable earnings.
I want to understand what has driven the business's success so far. Together with the existing team, I intend to assess opportunities in customer relationships, processes and organisation. Actions will be based on specific findings and assessed against their commercial viability.
Anchora focuses on established businesses with a sound business model and sustainable earnings.
In preparing the acquisition, customer relationships, the existing management structure and knowledge transfer will be considered together with the current owner.
I value open communication and decisions with clear reasoning. I intend to follow through on agreed actions and review their impact.
02 / THE SEARCH FOCUS
The size ranges are indicative. Any departure from the search mandate requires a reasoned assessment and explicit agreement with the investors.
The aim is to acquire a controlling majority or full ownership. A minority stake retained by the current owner may be considered as part of the specific transaction.
In-house manufacturing is not a requirement. Customer value and sustainable earnings are what matter. The search focuses on Germany, with Austria and Switzerland also included.

Richard Porstmann
Diplom-Kaufmann (business degree), TU Berlin03 / THE OPERATOR
Following the acquisition, I intend to take on the day-to-day management personally and develop the business alongside the existing team over the coming years.
As Managing Director of HDS Hydraulik Brasil, I established and led a manufacturing and sales operation in Brazil, with responsibility for employees, production, customers and financial performance. The new production site was established within nine months.
I held procurement leadership roles at ENGEL, WEG and Bühler, and worked in spare parts procurement at Bombardier. Since 2019, I have supported manufacturing businesses as an interim manager in developing their operations, supply chains and procurement functions.
General management, establishing new operations, procurement, supply chain and operational transformation.
Europe, Latin America and Asia. German, English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Respect for what you’ve built. Care for the people behind it. Determination to carry it forward.
Professional background and career ↗04 / OPERATIONAL VALUE CREATION
Development begins with understanding the business model and the factors behind its success to date.
Together with the existing team, I want to assess potential opportunities carefully. The right steps will depend on the business and its goals.
Work with the team to understand the strengths of material flows, delivery performance and processes, and identify appropriate opportunities for development.
Build on procurement expertise and established supplier relationships. Assess quality, reliability and commercial viability together.
Understand existing customer relationships and explore together which additional services or markets would suit the business.
Draw on employees' knowledge and experience. Develop responsibilities and the existing management structure together.
The assessment will consider the business's sustainable earnings. One-off effects and the specific characteristics of the business model will be explained clearly to provide a sound basis for the acquisition decision.
05 / SEARCH FUNDING AND INVESTMENT
PERSONAL LEADERSHIP. TRANSPARENT COLLABORATION.THE INITIATIVE
Anchora is Richard Porstmann's business succession initiative. The legal structure of an investment will be determined before binding agreements are concluded.
THE ACQUISITION
The specific financing and ownership structure will be developed around the target business.
THE FINANCING
Search funding and acquisition financing are separate investment decisions. Financing for an acquisition will be developed around the specific target business.
I will hold operational responsibility. An advisory board is planned. Its membership, responsibilities and participation rights will be defined contractually as part of the acquisition.
Approval requirements are envisaged for major decisions such as business acquisitions and disposals, significant financing arrangements or capital measures. Responsibilities, thresholds and voting majorities will be defined contractually.
I will develop the handover plan together with the current owner, agreeing the steps, responsibilities and timing with each other.
Investors interested in a potential investment can learn more in a personal conversation with Richard Porstmann. I would be pleased to explain the initiative and provide further information.
INVESTOR QUESTIONS
Search funding and acquisition financing are separate investment decisions. Financing for an acquisition will be developed around the specific target business.
Both ranges are indicative and will be assessed together. Sustainable earnings and well-supported adjustments to the results are what matter. Any departure from the search mandate will be explicitly agreed with the investors.
I intend to take on the day-to-day management personally and develop the business alongside the existing team over the coming years. An advisory board is planned. Its membership and participation rights will be defined contractually.
It starts with understanding the business model and the factors behind its success so far. Together with the existing team, I want to assess suitable development opportunities, follow through on agreed actions and review their impact. No investment returns or successful sale are promised.
A sale at a later stage is possible. Whether and when it takes place will depend on the development of the business and the decisions of those involved. There is no binding date for a sale.
06 / THE NEXT STEP
I would be pleased to explain the initiative in a personal conversation and provide further information. There will be time for your questions and for us to get to know each other.

The website is hosted by dogado GmbH, Antonio-Segni-Straße 11, 44263 Dortmund, Germany. When you access it, the hosting provider processes your IP address, requested page, access time, data volume, browser and operating system information and, where applicable, referrer information. This supports secure and reliable operation (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). According to dogado's published webhosting information, log IP addresses are anonymised after 24 hours and logs are deleted within seven days. Hosting provider information.
Once the form is enabled, we process your name, email address and selected audience, plus any company, telephone number, preferred language and message you choose to provide. Submission is based on your separate consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), solely to handle your enquiry and related communication. Your consent, its wording version, language and server receipt time are included with the enquiry email as a record. To handle it, your enquiry is also recorded in our contact management system (see “Contact management with Pipedrive”).
You can withdraw consent at any time for the future by emailing info@anchora.net. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Without consent, you cannot submit this form. You may instead contact us by email or telephone.
Enquiries are sent via Microsoft 365 to info@anchora.net and stored in the business email environment. Providers include Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited and affiliated Microsoft companies. Microsoft explains remaining international transfers and safeguards in its business data protection terms and EU Data Boundary information. Processing exclusively in Germany is not promised.
Enquiries and consent records are retained for handling the enquiry and necessary evidence, then deleted unless legal retention duties or necessary legal defence require otherwise. Enquiries made directly by email or telephone are processed for pre-contractual measures where applicable (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or on the legitimate interest in answering them (Article 6(1)(f)).
Enquiries submitted via the contact form are also recorded in our contact management system (CRM) so that we can follow up on your request and contact you reliably. The provider is Pipedrive OÜ, Mustamäe tee 3a, 10615 Tallinn, Estonia, acting as our processor. We transfer your name, email address and selected audience, plus any company or organisation, telephone number, preferred language and message you provide, together with the consent record. If a contact already exists for your email address, the enquiry is linked to it; existing details are not overwritten automatically. No automated decision-making takes place.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). If the enquiry leads to further discussions or a business relationship, we process your contact details for pre-contractual measures (Article 6(1)(b)) or on our legitimate interest in orderly contact management (Article 6(1)(f)).
Until it is transferred, the enquiry is briefly stored in a protected, non-public area of our web hosting at dogado. After a successful transfer, the form content is deleted there; only technical references without content remain. If an enquiry cannot be transferred, it is reviewed manually and then deleted within 30 days at the latest.
We keep your data in Pipedrive for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship. If no further cooperation follows, we delete the data no later than 24 months after the last contact, unless statutory retention duties require otherwise.
Pipedrive processes data in data centres in the EU and uses sub-processors, some of which are located outside the EU. For such transfers, Pipedrive relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Details are provided in the Data Processing Addendum, the list of sub-processors and Pipedrive's privacy notice.
The form application limits submissions and suppresses duplicates using time-limited counters and keyed checksums. This protection file stores neither message content nor IP addresses in plain text. Expired entries are removed on the next form access. The purpose is secure operation based on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Once you start filling in the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., USA, is loaded; verification usually runs unnoticed in the background. Cloudflare processes signals including your IP address, browser and connection information, site key and associated domain to detect automated requests. This serves our legitimate interest in protecting the forms (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Verification is required to submit a form; email and telephone remain alternatives. Details of processing and international transfers are provided in the Turnstile privacy addendum and Cloudflare data protection terms.
